A violation of established social norms or expectations, especially as relates to polite society or specific professions.
stand for the flag and the national anthem.
when in court you stand when the judge comes in.
you don't talk ill about the dead at a funeral or viewing even if he/she was an a$$hole.
anybody talk on their cell phone during church or prayer

just because you can doesn't mean you should.
