I remember when the Pioneer had a casino in there where they trained dealers for their
main club on Fremont. I liked playing there because they had dime (black chips) craps,
nickel roulette, and 50 cent(I think) 21. They were training Vegas Vickie on roulette at a
time when there were no women dealers in town.

The postcards show the Elwell before the top floor was added and the entrance before
it was moved to the corner (bar entrance).
