I remember driving up yo LV in the 60's

no air conditioning, rent a window water cooler didn't do much, burlap bag of water hanging off the hood ornament. Always stop at the Baker fountain, 2 feet concrete thick walls, and fans, was 90 but felt great, in summer 115. we would get a cool drink. the a few miles toward LV stop and hide 10.00 under a rock. We knew our 50.00 each cash would be there on way home, and would need gas (.25) and a coke & burger. But so much fun, at 8.00 room, 29 cent breakfast, .25 craps and .50 BJ. Lounge show 2 drink min. 1.00 each. Funny my long term memory is very good, but can't remember what I had for breakfast today. Thanks for great pictures.
