Hey Colter, it's Psypher from the boards.
In the singles collecting world, the words "rare" and "scarce" have certain meanings or conotations, and both are considerably more rare than 2500 chips. Not sure if the original seller knew this or not, but in our realm we would consider those terms to be at best uninformed or at worst misleading as used in the listing.
The Chip Rack price guide puts these chips at a pricing band of M, which is $100-$124. I typically cut that price band in half and far more often than not, that's what I see singles selling for on eBay for most chips (although as the price of the chip gets higher, it gets closer and closer to the price band listed). In other words, the recent eBay sales around $50 would seem to match up with my experience for what a reasonable, private sale valuation would be for a chip like that.
That's for one or two chips, though. Not sure if I would expect to maintain that price while trying to move them all as singles. You may have to come down from that price little by little as more and more of them get sold. Regardless, best of luck to you, and welcome to The Chip Board!
(Oh, and by the way, I can definitely confirm what some folks have already informed you of - some participants here won't respond to you here unless you include your full name in the "Your Name" field when making a post. It's a very, very different world over here than on PCF.)
