The St. James Club in Antiqua was way off the beaten path. Far from the other casinos on the island. Very expensive cab ride if you wanted to make the trip from the other side of the island.

Convinced my wife to go and stay at the resort. Had a great time. Very friendly casino. The gambling seemed to be offered for the guests and not so much for the $$.

No shorts could be worn in the casino. (I knew that going in.) Watched a man who took the long trip in shorts be stopped at the door. The casino manager asked what size pants he wore, took him in the back and he came back in slacks.

Had so much fun there at the relaxed casino talking to the manager that a year or so later decided to go back. Arrived at the hotel about 7pm. Put on my slacks, headed to the casino and found this sign:

It had closed about two weeks earlier.
