I went to Springfield last week. Here are a few observations.
The bars and 1 restaurant seemed more busy than the casino.
A few casino observations.
Craps. $15 and $25 minimum.
BJ. $15, $25 and $50 minimum.
Roulette. $25 spread.
Small poker room did not have many players. I only saw 2 open tables.
Very few video poker machines. I saw about 12 in the casino and was told there are about 30 more in each of 2 bars. The machines in the casino are all triple, 5 play or 10 play. No machines that let you play 1 hand. The games I saw required 15 coins per hand (x3, 5 or 10) to get the 800 to 1 for a royal. Not sure about the machines in the bars.
Bars and restaurants.
Most of the bars were relatively busy. TAP, the sports bar and restaurant, was very busy and had a waiting list to get in. The other restaurants were not as busy. No long lines at the fast food outlets. 2 "gourmet" restaurants were relatively slow.
