OK this has nothing to do with chips or collector watches but I thought it was kind of funny. I have one case in an antique mall and one day while I was at a yard sale the guy had 7 watches for sale and I bought them all for $5 total. No clue if any of them worked or how much the batteries would cost. Wally World wanted about $5 each for the batteries so I knew that was not going to work. I did find that I could buy batteries that I could afford on Ebay even if they took a long time to arrive. I now sell these watches in my case at the mall for $10 each, more like $25-$30 if they are Seikos or other better watches. They have become some of my best selling items (along with old silver coins selling for a ridiculous 26 times face value). Go figure.
