Re: I sure miss the thrill of a LV trip in 60'&70'

In the 70's Cindy and I would go and stay at Circus Circus, visit Stardust for their $8.99 lobster dinner and I would visit all of the casinos in the area. I remember one time I went by myself over Thanksgiving weekend and the airfare from Milwaukee was $35. Just too cheap not to go and have 4 days of fun. Those days sure are gone. We are going to visit the parks in Utah in a few weeks and after flying into Vegas I decided there is no reason to stay there the first night so we are going to Mesquite (the $27 room rate had something to do with the decision). On the way home we are staying at NY NY for two nights but only because they sent me an offer for two free nights. Cindy has not seen the city in about 10 years so it will be fun to show her around.
