The good ole days...

I couldn't agree more. Pre-corporate Vegas was entirely different. You were a player, you got comp'd. You didn't need to play blackjack four hours of blackjack at $50.00 a hand to earn a hamburger. Back when you got a great show a great meal and you could do it on a budget. Ah yes, back to the days when a cab ride downtown wasn't $40.00.

Then....we can talk about the style and the charm of old Las Vegas.

Complaining aside, I also revel in the camaraderie of the convention. After 20 years, I have some memories and friendships that I will always cherish. But things change. Things evolve. I'm sure there are plenty of new things to appreciate and plenty of things to come.
