I sure miss the thrill of a LV trip in 60'&70's

Went to LV in 1960 on my honeymoon, stayed at the Trop. then in the 60's and 70's went with friends 2-3 times a year. The planning was exciting, fun times were thrilling, all on a low budget. Saw all the great performers and big production shows that are now mostly all gone. Great food at reasonable prices, funds lasted much longer gambling than today.. Fast forward to the last 15 years, the thrill is gone, often feel ripped off, and just not much fun. Exception is my yearly trip to our convention, at the best hotel/casino in LV The South Point, fun activities with club members. So after 100+ trips I sure miss the the good old day's, without our convention I would never go back.
