Hey Joel,
Not as tired of it as it just doesn't seem to be worth the trouble and expense anymore. One thing I am really getting tired of fast is the Airlines. Less and less flights to choose from. Parking and getting to the Airport 2 hours early so that I can stand in multiple lines. Taking off my shoes, standing and twirling with my arms in the air, getting zapped with X-Rays and who knows what else. Dealing with TSA. Waiting for my late flight. Finally getting on and sitting in seats that have less space and less leg room. My knees jammed into the seat in front of me and that person constantly moving their seat with my fold-down tray attached. Just getting to Las Vegas is a pain.
Las Vegas has a lot less deals on Room Rates unless you go on their certain days. Sky high Resort Fees added to your room rate supposedly for the internet and pool whether you use them or not. It's 115 degrees and most of the pools close at 6:00pm. I want to use the pool in the evening after the scorching hot sun has gone down. Parking fees. Shows cost between $150 and $350 if it is anything except a nightclub act. Buffets are $35-$55.
With Casinos in every state now and not just Las Vegas and A/C anymore(Including my home) I would think that Las Vegas would be working on ways to attract more customers with lower prices and incentives. Instead I am seeing just the opposite - higher everything. I don't mind losing some money. I don't go to Las Vegas expecting to win, but don't rape me on every last everything and then take my gambling money also.
I still like Las Vegas and it still has appeal, but the urgency to go there is gone. Instead of being as excited as I once was - I now weigh the pros and cons and consider my other options more carefully.
