Robert, I doubt the chips are affected. Most inflation-rid countries either deal with US Dollars or have chips with designated values. One time in Zimbabwe I was paid with a 12.50 chip that I was told was actually $5. Have you ever seen those chips from Argentina that simply have a letter and number on them, like T3, for example? They all have designated values because of inflation. On a recent visit to Buenos Aires, I saw a chart on the wall with all the numbers and letters and a listing of what each chip was worth. When I tried to take a picture of the chart, security ran up to me and stopped me.
