The man who was selling the chips did not live
In Response To: Very nice... ()

in Santa Cruz. I didn't get his name or home town but he mentioned living somewhere in the central Valley and just having driven to the swap meet on the Coast with his wares. He had some GVCC $5 chips and Shadowbrook Inn ones both of which Raulin also has, so the Central Valley connection makes some sense. He also had military items, some knives, marbles, dice, postcards, die-cast cars, and a tray of old (seemingly relatively common) low-value coins, wherein I found that Gaborone Sun casino chip, sunning itself. A variety of knick-knacks. Grey-haired man with a van, friendly disposition, liked talking with prospective customers, if any of this makes sense in trying to identify the vendor.
