I print several labels a day and haven't been locked in as you describe it. I don't like the way PayPal labels default to priority mail, large package, but I haven't had that issue with ebay labels.

I have had trouble with the lack of coordination, where I print a label from ebay but PayPal still shows it as unshipped (the money, of course, has been deducted)
