I bought four boxes of 100 chips each at the big antique store on Folsom Blvd in 2004. They had a bunch more that I didn't buy - not sure how much but it was lot more than 4 or 5 boxes. I had at least two boxes of 10¢ chips all in new condition - the rest were a mixture of 50¢, $1, and $5. The story at the time was that they were from a Sacramento club. I would have thought the order was a bit big for a home set - maybe the cleaners had a "back room"...
