That's not the issue being discussed nor has any relevance. If a referee or umpire wants to influence games and bet on them, no regulation is going to prevent it. But, will a billionaire casino/team owner use his influence and/or knowledge to make a few more bucks at the risk of losing everything????? Again, I don't think so.
