Could this have happened in the manufacturing process ??? Why was the inlay not distorted or torn or stretched out of shape in some way ?? When you look directly at the chip you can't see the void/melted area - the chip looks fine. You only notice the defect when you look at the chip on an angle. Still a puzzle to me.
