BEFORE RESORT INTERNATIONAL OPENED ... MY FAMILY WAS IN TRAINING THAT WINTER AT THEIR DEALERS SCHOOL ... I WAS WORKING IN NEW YORK CITY AND WOULD VISIT THEM IN BRIGANTINE ON THE WEEKENDS ... I REMEMBER AN OLD CHURCH ON PACIFIC AVE. THAT BECAME A NIGHT CLUB CALLED "LITTLE JOHNS" ... VERY NEAT, BUT IT FELT CREEPY DRINKING & DANCING UNDER THIS FORMER PLACE OF WORSHIP ... MY FIRST MEXICAN ENCOUNTER WAS "LOS AMIGOS" A SMALL BAR WITH TEQUILA AND NACHOS ... NEXT UP WAS "PEKING DUCK HOUSE" ... I ALWAY'S FEED THE DUCKS AND FOUND IT DIFFICULT TO EAT ONE ... BUT MY GIRLFRIEND WAS A CARNIVORE AND LOVED IT ... NEXT UP WAS CAPTAIN STARNS SEAFOOD HOUSE ON THE INLET ... BEST FRESH FISH IN TOWN ... NEXT UP WAS ZABERERS PRIME RIBS ... JUST ONCE ... TOO MUCH $$$ FOR A WORKING BOY! ... NEXT UP WAS THE GRAND OPENING OF THE BRIGHTON CASINO (not so grand) ....
