(a) ... I am all for promoting our club (CCA) and our hobby. I like seeing the various displays around town at the Casinos and the Nevada State Museum. Our goal I think is to someday have a retail museum / store experience for the general public to enjoy to promote our club & hobby as well as have a headquarters for administration and storage of club assets.

(b) Maybe it's just me but I am confused with all of the splintered groups that are distant, but part of our club "CCA". The MOGH is terrific, but I don't think the public get's the connection between the MOGH and our CCA ... we donate / loan some of hobbies best treasures to the Mob Museum and others ... if I wasn't a club member I would have no knowledge that the MOGH was not owned or part of the Mob Museum ... the Casinos ... or the State Museums .... our signage should be displayed much more prominently.

(c) I think more emphasis should be placed on getting the "Casino Collectibles Association" name out there and what we are all about. Being downtown here in Las Vegas I have quite a few tourist / visitors that have gone to the Mob Museum and after questioning them about their experience .... they had no idea there was a Casino Collectibles Club and most of the gaming displays are on loan from our organizations and members. I would like everyone to step back and take a big look thru the eyes of the public at the nice displays and ask yourself ... are we getting the exposure the "CCA" deserves and needs .... they charge admission to the public and are doing quite well financially ... When the heck are we going to get serious about our own facility? We have the money and staff (volunteers) here in Las Vegas to make it happen! If we just loan out our cool displays ... It may dilute our story and message ... if you see something too often it becomes common! ..... I thank you for listening to my rant and your comments are most welcomed on this topic ... Let's take a club member survey and get our own museum open .... baby steps are good ... look what we pay for storage each year ... put that money into our own facility. Just do it! ....
