After collecting high denoms Nevada chips for 11 years and being a member for 8 I finally made my first convention. It was so great to finally meet and shake hands with folks I 've dealt with through the internet,phone calls,ebay,and emails over the years. I added some great pieces to my collection this year thanks to people I 've gotten to meet like the Spinettis,Mike Christensen,Doug Saito,David Spragg,and many more who have been able to educate me more and add to my collection. My highlight was playing in my first live poker tournament,I do play on the regular Wednesday night chip board poker game,making it to the final table and then splitting the pot with Bob Bickford. It was truly a fun experience. It was also fun learning about all the new tools available on the chip guide. How great that we can now track our wants and collections from a smart phone.Great job to all that work so hard with that. I can t wait for next year and really understand what I 've been missing all these years. Our hobby is truly blessed with some of the finest folks around
