So everyone always says to keep our hobby relevant into the future we need to attract young blood. I'm doing the best I can to get my two kids interested in chips and so far it's working but my main issue is that they're always wanting more! Unfortunately, I have limited funds to spend on chips for my own collection much less the kids collection so I haven't been building their collections as much as I would like. Since I already have them interested I would like to keep growing their interest which means occasionally getting chip in the mail for them or letting them pick out a new one for their collection.
Carliana is 4 years old and is focusing her collection on chips with animals (prefers inlayed chips with bright colors), pink or purple chips, and chips that sparkle. We are focusing her collection mainly on Nevada but aren't strict on that right now.
Coltin is 18 months old and is focussing his collection on chips with cars, trucks, and motorcycles, sports, or animals. We are focusing his collection mainly on Nevada but aren't strict on that right now.
We are also beginning to start Coltin on potty training and I'm hoping to use the same reward system with him as I did with Carliana where if he goes, he gets to pick out a chip. It was awesome watching how excited she got everytime she got to pick out a new one! The only issue with this is that I will need quite a few more chips to make this work.
If you have any chips in these categories (or any categories really) and are willing to help out the future of our hobby, please let me know. We could possibly work out a trade or if they are REALLY cheap I could possibly buy them thanks a lot and I really look forward to a strong future for our hobby. Dan R-8220
