The White Spot was owned by the Pappas family. Wiki says this about the ownership of the Green Shack...
"This is not just a restaurant going out of business, this is a death -- a death of a Las Vegas landmark,"[Jim] McCormick, 59, said of the restaurant his great aunt Jimmie Jones and her mother, Effie, opened on Christmas Eve 1929."
There are actually several ads in the menu; Boulder Club, National Ice Company, Las Vegas Laundry, Las Vegas Distributing Co, Anderson Dairy, Quality Bakery, Johnson't Market, Clark Auto Court, Shaw's Jewelers, Davis Cleaners, The Market Spot, Nevada Beverage Co, Boulder Drug Co, Nevada Electric Co, Apache Indian Shop, Las Vegas Florist and Wedding Chapel, Fanny's Dress Shop, Nevada Stockman Supply Co, and Earhart-Rear Motors, Inc.
We have an Apache Cafe Menu that has several ads, too. I have to admit, though, it does seem odd to sell ads to a competitor...
Glad you liked it!
Found this picture online (but I didn't make note of the website )...it shows the White Spot Arcade sign...
