I would always spend at least one day down town and eat at one of the several very good and top line restaurants. But my friend and my kids when they are with me, do not like Fremont Street--are bored with the overhead and except for an occasional show at the Golden Nugget resist going down there. Shame, since there is good gambling at the sawdust joints.
