During our recent return to the French Riviera for vacation,
we went to the 3 casinos in the Nice area and went for the day
to Monaco to grand daddy of casinos - "Casino de Monte-Carlo"

We got some of these gold flake €5 (euro) chips in the casino at
the Monte Carlo (see picture below)

Does anyone have any information on them? Were they a limited
edition of some sort? Any value other than €5 ?

What was kind of unique also, was that they were processing new
players cards - check out the number on my wife's new Monte Carlo
players card
