As much as I love the UK, traveling there six times a year or so, one constant annoyance over the years is keeping track of the changing currencies there. I used to have the Bank of England website page that explains what was what permanently stored on my iPad. Sometimes I still get an obsolete note passed to me at some tourist site. As far as I know, no other country demonetizes their currency so often. Don’t even ask me how many of those useless, thick, old 50p and 10p coins I still have 😊.
