Caesars Inn - South Tahoe

From 1969 to 1971, Caesars Inn was a small club and motel at 164 Highway 50 in Stateline, Nevada, about half a mile northeast of the bigger Stateline casinos.

Memorabilia from Caesars Inn can be recognized by the distinctive soft, round lettering in its logo. (In contrast, Caesars Tahoe, which opened a decade later, had sharp, angular lettering in its logo.)

In 1972, Harvey Gross bought the small Caesars Inn, plus other land surrounding the property (including the former Sky Harbor Airport & Casino next door) and expanded it to become Harvey's Inn, a modest local casino and motel along U.S. Highway 50 between 4H Road and Kahle Drive.

After the death of Harvey Gross, the Inn was sold and reopened as the Lakeside Inn and Casino in 1985.
