The Canadian anthem isn't sung twice - in English-speaking provinces they usually sing one verse in French, the rest in English. When the Canadian anthem is played in an American city, though, it is traditionally English-only.

When an American team plays a Canadian team, both anthems are sung (home team's last). This is also true in baseball and basketball.
