Also...on your “Thermal” casino question to the board the other day....I did do some asking around and I was told that there were 40-50 thermal spas throughout France. Most were near springs? Or natural water sources because the people believe the water had natural healing powers. A few of the places offered gambling (Not all)....but nobody knew where yours were from. Of course....this was way before most of the living French people were born. Maybe the 1930’s at the latest.
