Hi Pete-

If it's any help I used to play LoBall at Fatts in Concord back in the late 80's when I first started playing poker. It wasn't my first choice of card rooms since Diamond Syl's and The California Grand were also close, larger and offered more games. They also had free tournaments and free player buffets. Fatts was always a low limit card room, even when they introduced Pai Gow towards the end of their existence. I don't recall ever seeing the $1,000 chip in play there....doesn't mean it's not from there, just that I don't recall it ever being on the low limit LoBall table where a chip like that would certainly stick out.
