I recently picked up a chip from a boat called The Enquirer. The boat was owned by William J. Conners of Buffalo, NY. He was owner of the Buffalo Enquirer in the 1890's. The yacht Enquirer was launched in 1896. I would say the chip is from that year. from the history on the yacht, he only had the boat two years before he sold it to the US Navy. I got a red, white, blue and yellow they appear to be made of celluloid. I love digging up the history of stuff.
