A 50c token showing the famous 18 k. golden rooster at John Ascuaga's Nugget in Sparks (near Reno). This is a brass proof strike for the 50c machines. It is mintmarked FM and dated 1969. The edges are plain, not reeded in the usual way to show the unique pattern used for mint-run tokens at the Nugget. Only 2600 proof tokens were struck of this token.
