I’ve been thinking about this for some time, really old people are allowed to do that – think it over for some time.

First, I would like to recognize and applaud Doug Smith and what he has volunteer to provide as a New Member enticement.

But it’s not enough. The Club, through the BOD, must stand up even higher, the BOD must provide even better enticements. What would be a better enticement - this would, in my opinion, give a free 3 year Club membership along with a 2 year free entry - for the new member and their partner - to the annual convention to be used between years 1 and 2, and 2 and 3 - this should provide then plenty of time to become a regular member if they so desire.

Cost to the Club – 3 years of the club magazines and 2 years of entry badges for the convention.

I believe we have more than enough money in the old Building Fund and we also have Jim Noll’s’ very generous Estate donation to cover these costs.
