Re: Question...for our “more” senior members

Butch, In 1955 I was 18 years old, my neighbor was Ernie Primm and son Gary in San Marino, Ca. I was in the same car club as Gary and played football with Gary. Ernie owned the Monterrey Club and the Rainbow Club, they had the same driveway and shared a big parking lot in the rear. We used to drive down with a few HS buddies and play porker, only spread low Ball, and passed the deal to the players. I remember a list of cheaters on the wall, and rule was two cheaters couldn't play at the same table.(a team of two would raise and re raise to get players out of the hand) Just paid time every 30 minutes. .25 or .50 chips were used to pay time. Can't remember anything else, except a famous poker player in So. Cal for 40 years played "HARRY THE HAT" died years ago.
