I noticed that a chip I have is listed as being ordered 1929 from USPC by Victor Fliegelman. I googled up the name and found that he was a forerunner to the Marion & Co. I have no idea what the monogram on the chip stands for. I just thought it was interesting to see how things developed through the years.
