~~~ one modern-day "couterfeit" chip entering the hobby... history shows us that once upon a time a casino chip was counterfeited which fooled eveyone in town and was only discovered after a redemption order where there were more of the chips turned in than manufactured. 😫 There were 200,000 pieces made and 400,000 returned. They were used in the marketplace as well. The town was Monte-Carlo and the info is published in Day's and in our club magazin.
