As I said, I really miss that table!

There other things about that game that were different from any other roulette table in Las Vegas. En Prison was in play. That means even money bets like black or red, even or odd, or high or low did not lose when the ball landed in zero. Those bets stayed in play for the next spin, and if the next spin was a winner for one of your bets, your bet was returned to you...you didn't lose it. Also, the direction of the spin of both the wheel and the ball was reversed on each consecutive spin. There were a number of group bets available called neighbors were you could bet specific sections of numbers on the wheel. It was very different from your standard American roulette game! Single zero cuts the house edge in half, and En Prison cuts it in half again!

Had I known the table was going to vanish without warning or notice, I would have taken home and kept many more jetons than I did, including both $500 varieties and at least one $1,000. I didn't care if they were slippery as long as I had a bunch in from of me!
