that has to be the most un balanced wheel i ever saw. all the numbers are in order by columns.if you fined a biased wheel ,you could make a killing
While that's true and I really don't want to be disagreeable, any un-balanced wheel would have the same effect, just not as easy to pick a column and hit big. Math theory (and once again, that goes against humans intuition) says the wheel could be sequentially numbered and that would change nothing for the odds. The slots don't know what number they are any more than a Keno ball.
Nice thing about Roulette being such a perfect math game is the distribution of the numbers on the wheel and how any bet (except the five 0-00-1-2-3 which is worse) produces the same odds. There is no advantage to any bet on the game, the house odds remain the same and so do the players. No one gets an advantage. Even the little white ball has a nice scattered distribution of red/black, high/low, even/odd and all the numbers are mixed up. I've always admired that.
Being that, I still like to play zones on the wheel just because I'm human and not a computer. LOL Somewhere I think if it misses my number and lands right next to it, and I have that number as well, I some how beat some unfortunate fate, or have an edge against the odds. Reality says, doesn't matter. What's important is that the cocktail waitress comes past regularly and I win and lose at a even rate so it takes a long time to enjoy the play.
