I would but maybe I'm off the track, plus Reno 1990 and 2004 were my last two times I remember best. I love the place. Between the two visits I miss so many closed casinos and stores, it's terrible.

Here's my view. If you have a car, go to Silver City, spend some time and have some fun. Take 341 (not the most direct route) 431 it's confusing. 341 goes through the mountains, it's scenic. You can always go home through Carson City the easy way.

Lake Tahoe is worth the drive, so 341 to Silver City, go to Carson City, then Lake Tahoe and around the lake coming back. No roads twice.

Where are you staying? Atlantis was nice, sushi bar on the crossover was fun. Downtown limited now but walking is good. I have to say that so many things have changed I can't say much else current or modern. Between Eldorado and the rest, Virginia street end to end the main casinos, worth walking was good fun.
