From what I read under Sec. 304.1(e), it appears that any future campagne item [chip] will be protected against reproduction or counterfeit of an original item which would include any chip if I'm reading the section correctly. So, it just might be that even though such an item is not a numismatic item; such as a chip (or "token" as well?) any future campagne chip will be protected under the Hobby Protection Act.
