Those were the creation of Cliff McDonald who had a coin and jewelry store on Fremont st.
called Coins and Gifts International in the 70s. He also claimed to be the originator of the
dice clock (along with others). He sold a lot of Las Vegas Dollars with a standard reverse
to the hotels but several had their own back. They were made with various finishes and
could be mounted in necklaces, keychains, and belt buckles. I partnered up with him and
had some "Reno Dollars" made.
