My plan for new members so far hasn't

worked, just cost me many good chips. I play in a Texas Holden tournament every Sat. night. (small stakes 25.00 buy-in no rebuy) I live in a Del Webb community, we have 24 players. (about 45 total, first 24 to reply play). We rotate homes, host provides dinner at the break, so most have seen my thousands of my chips, I talk about about our club, so about two months ago I started splashing every pot at my table, with one nice Nevada, mostly LV chip. Then talking about the history of the casino, and the chip. Many go to LV to visit, so I talk about our convention and fun times we. Then ask if any one would like to join? So far no luck, most like to play poker, and some go to LV often but for some reason don't want to join our club. It is not because of costs, most have retired, go on many cruises, and have a strong financial situation. I also take our club Magazine after I've read, and leave in our club house for reading. ( we have 1,300 residents) Two guys were in LV during our convention a couple years ago, I I had them visit for free Sat. just to see all the dealers stuff, and the didn't stay long and showed no interest. Weird, my old buddies would join in a minute, but they are all gone. Any suggestions?
