I've enjoyed Jim Colbert's "We're Long Gone" posts about closed California card rooms and what's there now. Here's a variation on that theme from Reno:
Reno Game Supply manufactured Arodie chips in the 1950s, including those for the Cal-Neva Biltmore, Topaz Lodge and the Horseshoe in Las Vegas. I had this RGS chip until recently, when I sold it to an avid Reno collector. The RGS factory was in a building on South Virginia Street that now houses a used record store and fitness center.
