The inlay was probably designed by GPI and licensed for use by any casino that wanted it. GPI made a promotional Year of the Rooster chip on their Premium line for distribution at G2E 2016. That exact chip was then used by Palace Station as their Chinese New Year chip, just with some logos swapped or removed. I’m guessing something similar happened this year, but that Hard Rock also elected to use GPI’s design.
