One of the most controversial issues on the ChipGuide is whether or not to include CHIPS from non-casinos. A decision was made in the early days of the ChipGuide to include chips, no matter where they were used and what they were used for, to provide that information to the less knowledgeable. Many die hard chip collectors do not like seeing items like Harley-Davidson chips on the ChipGuide, they think that only CASINO chips should be there. To accommodate these collectors a feature was added to the ChipGuide to allow users to select if they wanted to see just CASINOS, both CASINOS and NON-CASINOS or just NON-CASINOS.

The new enhancement to the ChipGuide is a change to the TITLE at the top of the page based on the user's NON-CASINO selection, which will show either "Casinos and Non-Casinos", "Casinos (Only)" or "Non-Casinos (Only)". When you change the Non-Casino selection (on the left side of the page) the title (top of the page) will automatically change as will the list of casinos in the state. The ChipGuide will remember your selection on each state that you visit, you do not have to set it each time you visit a different state.
