From the Dr. "Chong Wa family" chips.

The email below was sent to me in 2015 from Dr. Luis Alvarez, I asked him about the "Chong Wa family" Metal chips discussed in the thread below.

Hi Wes,

Yes, a large number of those were found in the area of the port and Barrio Chino (Chinatown), next to each other, which was the worst part of town. So, for sure they were used there. And, is "assumed" that they belong to some of the casinos of the mentioned name. That family owned half of the Chinese dirty business and had many small little house casinos and casinos. So, because there were found in different areas it is believe they were primarily used by the Chong Wa family. Plus they were the only ones who could probably pay for foreign chips. All the other "casinos" in China Town were very cheap and dirty operations.

Now, these chips were not made in Cuba!! So, like a lot of the USA Chips (mostly illegal) that moved to Cuba, these chips can probably be found in other places.
