If you've had a chance to look at the Chip Chat auction catalog #42, you know there's a lot of Nevada no-cash-value chips offered; several hundred in fact. If you need some of these for your collection, plan on visiting the auction at the Gold Coast in Las Vegas Jan 28th and 29th. If you'd like to bid by phone at the auction and already have bid on one or more lots, you can get called during the live part of the auction and up your bid if you're so inclined. Note that this won't happen if you indicated that you didn't want to be called when you sent in your mail or fax bid.
There are quite a few chips that are not offered as NCVs in the auction. I mention this only because my collection of Nevada NCV's was arranged in about 240 pages (some partial pages of chips) some of them varieties of a particular chip. If you don't see a chip you need in the auction catalog and you are attending the live auction, ask Doug Saito as he may have them scheduled for a future auction or plans to sell them at his table. If so, and you see the actual chip, make an offer and you may be able to buy it.
