SOLD CHIPS:
This little “info-commercial” is to announce a new policy of the “Page of the Day”. Up to now my Face Value chips have been $5 and some Odd Denominations.
From this point forward; there will be face value chips in almost all categories of the “Page a Day”. For example(s): Caribbean Ones, 25c chips, States chips, 50c chips; etc. etc.
There will be 100’s of face value chips listed on the new format of the pages of the day. Even more coming in 2018.
This has become necessary because of several reasons.
• Economy
• Closed Casino Buy-Outs
• Over Stocked Items
• Lesser Condition Chip Offerings
• Higher Denoms Are Not Selling ($2, $3 etc.)
I hope this will have a positive effect on you the collector. As time goes by I will be making this happen more and more. Please know, that the postage for these face value bargains remains the same as all other chips. Minimum order amounts will remain the same.
If you are regular customer and/or are regularly getting discounts please know that there will not be additional discounts on face value priced chips.
Hopefully; this should create a little more interest in the “Pages A Day”. Most every group of pages will have a face value chips. You will have to check each group of POD’s out as they are displayed. Good Luck.
Reggie

Hi, Reggie,
Here's a recent chipping adventure for you.
Last week I stopped in at the Commerce Casino in search of more of their most elusive $5 Year of the Rooster chips. Nothing to be found or spotted on the tables, but the Cashier in the Fill Cage offered to look through some of her racks for them. She said to come back in about five minutes. It was around midnight and I'm always superstitious about hanging out in cardrooms during late night hours. But I wandered around a bit, watched a spirited Baccarat game or two, and then returned to the Fill Window.
Ahead of me, a casino runner turned in a stack of $100 bills for chips. The Cashier looked through them, came to one bill, and shook her head. The mark left by the dealer's security pen showed brownish, not invisible. Then she felt the bill (apparently too smooth). Next she held up the bill to look for the hologram. Either there was none, or it was in some way defective. A counterfeit!! Then she tore the bill just a bit to see how the paper split - it didn't act like real banknote paper (a lot harder to tear). She made a quick phone call to someone. Asked the runner what table he had picked up the money from, and told him to go back there. From my position in line behind the runner, I got a pretty good look at the banknote in question - an older style green $100 with large portrait of Benjamin in the middle, not the newer colored-ink variety.
He left and I just said, "Bad money?" And the cashier said, "Yes, sometimes happens. I didn't find any Rooster chips."
This was not the time to wait around. I could just imagine Casino Security, the Commerce Sheriff's Deputies, and the FBI all converging on the Fill Room within five minutes, and maybe bringing the culprit to the window too. So I hustled out, Rooster-less for now.

THIS MAJOR TREK INTO THE FAR REACHES OF NORTHERN CALIFORNIA ALL STARTED AT ARCATA, CA. HOOPA IS A SMALL INDIAN TOWN ON CALIFORNIA STATE HIGHWAY 96. NANCY AND I WERE ON OUR MONTH VACATION TRIP THROUGH NORTHERN CALIFORNIA AND THE STATE OF OREGON, HARVESTING AS WE ROLLED ALONG. LUCKY BEAR CASINO WAS ONE OF MY MAIN TARGETS, AND I KNEW I HAD TO TIME IT PERFECTLY IN ORDER TO FIND THEIR ONLY BLACK JACK TABLE OPEN. COME TO FIND OUT I WAS RIGHT ABOUT THAT. THE TRIP FROM HIGHWAY 101 ARCATA, TO BLUE LAKE CASINO WAS EASY ENOUGH, WE EVENTUALLY LANDED IN HOOPA AND EASILY PARKED THE RV OUT IN AN EMPTY PARKING LOT. THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN A CLUE, THE EMPTY PARKING LOT. WHEN WE GOT IN THE CASINO THERE WAS A SECURITY GUARD AND A YOUNG GIRL AT A SNACK BAR STAND AND MAYBE 3 CUSTOMERS. THE PLACE WAS VEY SMALL, HAD MAY 100 SLOTS.
I TALKED TO THE GIRL AND TO THE SECURITY GUARD ABOUT THE POSSIBILITY OF A CASHIER MANAGER EVENTUALLY COMING INTO THE CASINO. FINALLY THE SECURITY GUARD SAID; I TELL WHAT I WILL DO, I WILL CALL HER AND YOU CAN EXPLAIN WHAT IT IS YOU LIKE TO DO. THAT WAS GREAT NEWS, EXCEPT I FOUND OUT THAT SHE WAS ATTENDING A WEDDING AND WOULD NOT BE IN FOR AT LEAST TWO HOURS. NEEDLESS TO SAY I WAS GOING TO WAIT HER OUT, WE HAD DRIVEN WAY TO FAR TO GO HOME WITH OUT SOME CHIPS. WE WENT BACK TO RV FOR A WHILE, I CRANKED IT UP SO WE COULD RUN OUR AIR CONDITIONER, GOT THROUGH THE TWO HOURS AND DRIFTED BACK INTO THE CASINO TO WAIT THE LAST FEW MINUTES. AT LAST, SHE SHOWED UP AND WE GOT DOWN TO BUSINESS, I OPENED MY WALLET AN SAID I WOULD LIKE 100 DOLLARS WORTH OF CHIPS AND TOLD HER THE DENOMINATIONS, SHE SAID I SURE HOPE THIS IS LEGAL FOR ME TO DO. I SAID I DO THIS AT INDIAN CASINOS ALL OVER THE COUNTRY, SHE BREATHED EASIER, I TIPPED HER; SHE SMILED AND WE HEADED BACK TOWARDS 101. NO I DIDN’T GET ENOUGH OF THOSE CHIPS, I RAN OUT IN LESS THAN A MONTH…REGGIE

I WILL BE FEATURING ONE STATE PER PAGE OF THE DAY IN THE FUTURE. PLEASE, NO CHERRY PICKING REQUESTS, UNTIL I BREAK DOWN THE STATES INTO INDIVIDUAL CHIPS. IT WILL BE ONE TO TWO YEARS (2019-2020)BEFORE I BREAK ANY OF THE LARGER STATES AND WHEN I DO I WILL MAKE AN ANNOUNCEMENT.
A WORD ON WHAT APPEARS TO BE DUPLICATES ON THE PAGES. THESE ARE UV OR MOLD VARIATIONS. I AM NOT GOING TO PULL THESE OUT AT THIS TIME. SHOULD THIS BECOME A NEGOTIATING FACTOR AND THE BUYER ONLY WANTS JUST ONE CHIP AND THE UV’S AND MOLDS MATTER NOT, THEN I WILL REMOVE THEM AND ADJUST THE PRICE ACCORDINGLY.
FOLKS, MANY OF THESE CHIPS ARE ALIVE, AND STILL BEING USED ON THE TABLES TODAY. SHOULD YOU BE NEAR BY A CLUSTER OF CASINOS FROM ANY PARTICULAR STATE, YOU PROBABLY CAN COME OUT AHEAD. ALSO, PLEASE KNOW THAT I CONSTANTLY OVER THE LAST 12 YEARS UP GRADED. I BOUGHT ANY NEW CASINO ISSUES WHEN THEY COME OUT FROM THE LOCAL CHIPPER THAT OFFERED THEM FOR SALE ON THE CHIPBOARD. THANKS FOR TAKING A LOOK-SEE…REGGIE
