There appears to be thought backing up this idea of how important slabbing is to our hobby... and, I wouldn't be shocked to see a future move in the way of scare tactics such as maybe "anti-counterfeiting" protection by having investment-grade chips slabbed as a guarantee so buyers will not be taken, which they might attempt to instill in some minds that this is what the hobby (club) needs to attract new blood and investors.

I think investors are here and are doing well... and I think they are fully aware of what is real and what is fake.

If the hobby was not doing well then why would a slabber even want to become involved in it...?

Why would a slabber approach some to join in with the effort?

It appears they want in on the action. ☺
