They way that I look at things, I see complainers and doers.

Complainers don't like something and complain about it, but do not have any ideas about how to fix the problem or are they willing to put in the time and effort to fix it. Complainers have no value, they only make things worse. They expect others to listen to what they have to say and fix things for them.

Doers, on the other hand, have some vision of how to improve things and make the effort to get it done. Doers are running this club, without the doers we would have nothing. Doers may not always get things right, but at least they are trying.

I try to turn complainers into doers. When they complain I listen to them and then ask them for ideas on how to fix things. They usually don't have an answer. I ask them to think about it and get back to me, they rarely do.

Doers have to put up with the complainers, it comes with the job. Remember that every single doer in this Club is a volunteer and WORKS for all club members without anything in return. For anyone to criticize the Club, or one of the volunteers, to me just demonstrates lack of respect for others and selfishness.

If you don't like the way things are, then think about how to fix them. The doers are always available to listen to good ideas. If you can't figure out how to fix it, then it is probably best to just keep your mouth shut.
