Don, your reply shows you have no comprehension of my point. i suggest you reread before you make so many ignorant statements.

The point of introducing slabbing is not to appease you or any other person already in the hobby. the goal is to introduce chip collecting/investing to a whole new demographic currently unaware of the chip "hobby". It would be in the best interest of grading companies, their affiliated dealers, auction houses, etc. to promote chips to investors already buying other graded collectibles. I know you may have a desire to touch and play with your chips, but that does not mean everybody, especially new investors, will have those same childlike inclinations.
